Default losing patience with eclipse

okay ....im not sure if most eclipses are this problematic, or maybe just the 420a's, but ever since i bought this car ive been having some problems. first it was the 'timing'. so the head gaskets got replaced and it got timed right and the head was sent to the machine shop to get resurfaced. then the radiator blew up. that got replaced, and now i got the check engine light on again, and the car is still driving rough especially when i slow down to stop the RPM surges..the light is code PO118 supposedly electrical or sensor the high temp output or something. has anyone out here had any experinces with tthis sensor code or these symptoms. cause this is probably the last eclipse i buy ever...hit me up

I'm out of Mitsubishi's until I can get the money to pick up an EVO, I am sick of my Spyder, I'm going back to Toyota.

Although I don't see that code on there. Might be because I'm still half asleep. I went over it twice but still a good link to have incase any other codes pop up.

yea i checked that link, i didnt see the 118 code, but i did see the code 117 which was 'engine coolant temp LOW'...so 118 should be the 'too high output'...its good to know you can check it that way, im trying that out later see if it works...good looking out

No problem. I was given this link from hunntyr when I had a "check engine" light on. Its still on but I'm not worried about it because its the evap soleniod blah blah which has to do with emissions (which we don't have here in Florida). It went off twice but then came back on.
