Default Stripped o2 bold... what's next?

I tried the special sockets with the slits and vise grips, ive even used PB Blaster to loosten it up a little but it just wont come out. I took it to goodyear and they didn't want to help me! Anyone want to make some money and take this damn old o2 sensor out so I can put the new one in? Its either this or get a new o2 housing. Someone who is either strong or has air tools, LMK im desperate!

You're probably going to need a new housing. I was having the same issue as you. Seems that these cars have a tendency to melt the O2 sensor to it's housing, so basically, no matter what you do, that thing isn't going to come out.

theyll come out, i pull them out all the time. it helps to have them hot.. i always do a couple hard runs and get the egts up and then pull the housings off and take it off then. spray some blaster on it, drive it and make sure to heat it up good, spray some more on there and drive again. repeat a couple of times, that usually helps too. i do that when i need to take off my turbo when they have been on there for more than a month, or if i dont feel like later having to drill and tap it.

Heh, I had the Brothers take a blow torch to mine, and that bitch still wouldn't budge.

Hope you have better luck with yours.

Use a generous amount of copper anti-sieze when you end up re-installing it either into the same or new housing.

Blow torch? I sprayed some blaster when the engine was cooling down after an hour and I saw some white smoke come up, but a blow torch?
