Its a pain in the ass, but anything can be done. However an Evo engine fits nicely and tranny is on the right side off the car for the swap, its easier and uses less fabrication

The engine can't fit in a RS or GS without some heavy modifying. This may have been answered already but I'll chime in. Like Miguel stated the Evo 8 motor would be a good swap but I've only see it in pictures in a RS/GS Eclipse and I have yet to find someone online who has done the swap and has done a write up. Something I may consider with my car if I ever find out how to actually do it.

Wow....No offense turboeclipse but this did come out a little a little rough. You had good intentions though, I will give you that.

There has been some talk and preliminary testing with the evo 8 that I have been reading up on but even I am still a little skeptical. I will wait to see how this plays out first before I swap out my 420A.
