Default Help

Any clue what this light is for? It just came on today. I don't have a manual for my car and tried searching on the internet for something to show me what each light means, but had no luck.

It is the coolant light. Usually comes on when your over heating. Low on coolant/have a leak and other instances. What I would do first is check the coolant resevoir which is located on the passenger side near the fan. You'll see a hose from the thermostat housing (where the radiator cap is) that runs to the coolant resevoir. It maybe low on coolant and if it is the sensor inside will trigger the light. This happened to me before. I added coolant to the resevoir and the light went away. Thats what I would check first. Then if the light is still on replace the radiator cap and if its still on replace the thermostat (it maybe stuck). Try those few things and see what happens.
