Default 2100

my 2100 has a few k miles if that, and i have the engine out now, i was gonna be upgrading to a sc61 sometime in the future, but not for a few months. can the 2100 hold any decent power or should i go ahead and get a 2600 pp now so i dont have to pull the tranny becuase the clutch is slippin from too much power....im gonna be aimin for 450hp when i get the turbo. so should i keep the 2100 or spend 300 bucks and get a 2600pp? im tryin to be good with spending here.

At the 400+ range, I think it would be wise to upgrade it. Just keep your fingers crossed that your crank stays in place.

he has a six bolt. I would go ahead and change it now while you can still sell the 2100 that way you will have peace of mind plus a few bucks in your pocket.

alot of people have run 2600 (street di on a stock 7 bolt and no crankwalk...from what i hear its usually when u go bigger than that is when shit likes to go wrong with a 7 bolt...but then again I might go with a jerry nitrated crank and not have to worry about that

I'm not saying the 2600PP will cause his crank to walk, but it does add quite a bit more thrust.

Didn't know you had a 6 bolt. On that note, go ahead and do the swap.

I tried to tell you while you had everything apart you might as well change to the 2600, but no my word isn't good enough.

yea, i think i will go to a 2600, anyone want a 2100 pp? im keepin the disc. also does anyone have a stock flywheel, we had a stubborn bolt and kinda took some scrapes out of the flywheel, not the smooth surface, but the inside, is it still good to use?
