Default Bad day

You guys ever had a bad day when your car's not running right, you see others peoples sh$t running great and just say damn. You put money into your ride to upgrade your performance only to run good for awhile then sh$t. Then on top of running like crap something else goes wrong. Take the car out this morning to go to work this morning and Bamn, starts pulling hard to the right. I'm thinking damn flat tire. Check the tire, still good. Great my front end might be shot. Just what i need to put more money into a pit that I already spent a fortune on only to run worst.

When is enough, enough. You have a dream of what you want your car to be only to get shot down everytime. The next car I get will stay stock. Who am I kidding, I'll dump a shit load of money just to blow the motor up, that's just my luck. Those need for speed, fast and furious day will never happen. Everyone's had that dream at lease once. Anyway just venting hoping my car turns into the ride I wish she could be, or not. Haven't lost the love tho so I guess that's a good sign.

Love, peace, and chicken greese

Get a RS/GS and forgot about these prone problems. Thats what I did. I mean its no where near as fast as a 4g63t but I have my fun with it. Makes a good daily and an "okay" performance car. Little gains nothing special but still nice. Sorry to hear your luck, I've been there before and hope not to fall into it again. Good luck!

Things to remember when owning a DSM
You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.
If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good.
If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast.
If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.

I've owned a 91 TSI, so I know the problems and more. Everything was replaced on the car... engine, tranny, axles, etc. But no matter how much you replaced something always came up. Its sitting at my parents collecting dust and all it needs is a clutch because the old clutch is slipping. Engine only has 89k, turbo has about 500-1k miles after rebuild, etc. But its not for sale

why not take a couple of hours to change the clutch out and not let it rot? just drive it once a week to keep it alive, and then theres also less of a chance to break down with less driving. or slowly keep building it up.

That's the weird part. You fix something and something else always breaks or goes wrong. It's like you can't win. No way to stick it to the man...DAMN

I want a GST just so I can feel the pain of owning a DSM.

I <3 buying cars that break for no reason.

Oh wait, mine breaks more than most DSMs
