Exclamation traction help!!

i have a '91 tsi fwd. naturally traction is a problem, and i need some good grippy tires to put on here. i heard nitto nt555r's are good for traction, but i would like to find something a little cheaper and maybe that lasts longer.

Hello my friend, im in the same boat as you, same year too actually. Im spining all the way through second. LSD would be an option but if u want tires, Nitto's are expensive but reliable and grip like a mo'faka... I currently have Yoko's AVS 100's they are good.

good traction and long lasting just don't go together, you'll have to sacrafice one for the other.

Also look into suspension set up. Tires are not everything with traction, although they help a lot. I am sure if you look hard enough you would be able to find someone selling some DR or something.

As emodsm stated, traction and lasting tires, don't coincide. Are you looking for a track only set up or a DD?
