He was banned for trying to sell a T25 on the forum. If he has any questions point him to the DSMTalk rules listing.

Well, here are the forum rules for DSMTalk.com. The only way I could see him getting in trouble is if he was "bumping" his thread, but that's it. There are some okay guys on the board, but a lot of trollers and morons.

DSMtalk.com Rules
Please read these rules entirely, and if you agree to them, be sure to follow them. We enforce them.

(1) No rudeness, harassment, racism, bigotry, or personal attacks. Improper posts should be reported to site management as opposed to "handling" them yourself.
(2) No ads, spam, or affiliate code in the content of posts or signatures. This includes for-sale and wanted ads, and the advertising of vendors and websites. Vendors and websites may be referenced when relevant to the content of the thread, not for the purpose of publicity.
The only exception are DSMtalk's sponsors who may link to their website in their signatures.
(3) No posting of links or content related to pornography.
(4) Signature Policy -
- Signature photos must be automobile related.
- Nothing of bad taste, period.
- The image must be UNDER 20K in file size and UNDER 301 pixels in width and UNDER 201 pixels in height.
- Only one image per signature (a smiley is an image).
- It should be hosted on a reliable web server that allows off-site linking.
- Only jpg and gif formats allowed.
- Text in a sig must be under 4 lines as viewed on a 1280x1024 screen. Please keep the text car related.
- NO URLs OR LINKS are permitted in signatures, other than DSMtalk's sponsors and recognized DSM affiliates (dsm.org, vfaq, or other official sites at the moderators' discretion). Business links are NOT allowed. You may state the legal name of your business in your sig (only if it is CAR related), but you may link to it only in your profile's www field. Again, NO URLs or LINKS in the sig. (except as noted).
- No telephone numbers in sigs.
- If you are unsure as how to use a signature, please see our "we've seen these before" section, and if you are unsure of our signature policy, please go without one.
(5) Only one account per person. Posting under another user's account is grounds for being banned.
(6) No "nuisance" posts (i.e.: posting of similar questions, posting in the wrong forum, posting the same item in multiple forums or links to your other posts ("cross-posting"), ignoring the moderating team, trolling, purposely inciting negative responses, asking questions that have been answered many times already, etc.). Please use legible English.
(7) Do not "bump up" posts. This is when a user posts the word "bump" in a thread or posts solely to move a thread to the top. Instead, contact a moderator if you think the thread should be made a "sticky" (kept at the top of the forum for a while).
( Use the search function (upper right of the forums) and the "We’ve seen these before" section of the DSMtalk.com forums before posting a question. You may also want to consider first checking Club DSM, the VFAQsTM site, and the Club DSM Archive Searcher before posting. Those sites have excellent resources. Research there, discuss here.
(9) No customer service issues and no bad guy posts. Those types of issues are between you and the vendor or seller! If you have a non-inflammatory, non-biased, factual, relevant experience with a vendor, that is relevant to an existing thread, you may post it. If you are not sure if your post regarding a vendor is non-inflammatory, non-biased, factual, and relevant, DO NOT POST IT.
(10) VENDORS - We have a separate vendor policy, which must be followed. You can find it in the announcements section which is linked at the top of the threads inside each forum.
(11) Please respect our community and help us add to our growing database of technical knowledge in our forums. Do not guess at answers to technical questions to which you do not know the answer in an attempt to be helpful. Instead, say nothing, or better, RESEARCH before answering. Now THAT'S helpful. Friendly questions and helpful involvement are encouraged! Negativism and whining are not tolerated. Please have fun and be kind to your fellow enthusiast in our community. Keep all non-technical stuff out of the technical forums. Our lounge is a place to get to know your fellow community member; it is NOT an "anything goes" forum.
(12) The site administration may, without warning, delete posts, give warnings, or suspend accounts when necessary. If this concept is objectionable, do not register.
(13) Give feedback about our forums in the DSMtalk.com Stuff area... we are happy to hear your concerns and suggestions.

Welcome to the DSMtalk.com community! We look forward to your positive involvement and contributions!

I have never bumped threads on there, nor I have given them a reason, especially without some sort of a warning to be banned in the first place. I have his AIM screen name so I am going to see what this moron says.
