Default Evo Motor/Brakes/Steering Wheel in 2G

Holy crap, these guys must have a lot of cash just laying around to pull these off.

Taken from dsmtalk.com, credit to Mitsumissle:

Also a pic of a 2G interior with an Evo steering wheel:

Wow. Was it a 420 car to start with?

Not sure on that. Looks like the pics were taken from some asian country. Looks like you and I are the night owls of the Mitsu Tech board Jordan

Heh, yeah, I'm usually on at night. I see you added a second pic. Can't believe there's two of these things out there.

I'm here.

So were these originally 420a cars or 4g63s?

Damn, this guy also swapped in the Evo braking system onto his 2G.

Apparently they will bolt right up if you use 99' model year and up Galant knuckles.

I pm'ed him about whether the Eclipses were 420A or 4G63 and what all was done to pull the swap off.

He said the rear calipers bolt up without any modification at all.

EDIT: Added a couple more pics. You can see the rest of his gallery at dsmtalk.com.

Ah, man, I'd love to have those brakes on my car. They're not cheap, but they are a lot cheaper than any aftermarket brake kit. 1g guys seem to be stuck with the 2 piston calipers for cheap braking.

I agree Jordan. They probably perform almost as well, as the overpriced Grand Turismo kit from Brembo, plus you don't have to worry about the rotors getting easily warped/cracked due to the cross drilled/slotted pattern, though the rotors in the Grand Turismo kit probably don't crack very easily.

Even better, it looks like that kit clears 16" wheels. At least, I believe those are the 16" OZ wheels from the 10th anniversary year Eclipse GS's. I could be wrong though.
