Default Spun?

I have a 90 Eclipse GST and my lifters just went bad, so i decided to upgrade to the 2g lifters well i pulled the pan and i noticed that the number 1 cylinder was spun wich was wierd becuase its closest to the oil pump well the bearing spun pretty good but theres no real deap scratches to the crank do you think it will hold up pretty good just throwing another bearing in there.

I would figure out the reason it spun first, just replacing the bearing would only lead to future failure or something else that could be more costly. Do it right the first time and find the source of the problem.

You will need to replace your rod aswell, so then you wont do all that work to just have a spun bearing again once you start up.....best idea to do a rebuild though.
