Default Dead Battery

I moved the Starion a while back so the roomie could park in the driveway. I run it once a week or so but haven't really driven it. Well I wanted to move it to the driveway yesterday and nothing.....completely dead. It's been about 2.5 weeks since I started it up....not that long.

The Talon always has something draining the battery. I've pulled every wire and fuse but have never been able to figure it out. I know I can't let that car sit. WTF, is it just my Mitsubishi luck or do you guys have as hard of a time with batteries as I do??

We have had Mazda's and Fords sit for a looooooong ass time and never had this problem.

you need a man to handle all these petty little problems for you...

I'm sure there are several board members who are up to the challenge.

Ps its just you... Get an optima blue top and youll never have to worry lol

A battery has self discharge or internal electrochemical "leakage" that will cause it to become fully discharged and sulfated over a lengthened period of time if stored.

I never had a prob with my red top optima, but I drive the Talon everyday.

I hate you.

I drive it.....but just around the block. I don't leave the neighborhood since I don't have a tag and it's open down pipe.

I bought a new charger/jump-start thing. Oh course I bought some organizer thing while I was at the store so instead of working on the car I spent two hours in the garage sorting out all my crap. haha....I'll work on the car next week.

Just by a new battery and be done with it. If the battery has been drained past a certain point recharging it wont help. If you are ready to run the car, go to walmart and spend 30 bucks on a battery.

Im going to have to agree with Dario lol
