Default another stupid question

on the 420a block ,

where the oil filter screws on to ( the housing that bolts to the block)
what is that called and where can i get the gasket

hmm, at Jiffy Lube we called it "Filter Spindle"
Striped???
Your best bet may be junkyard .. or get raped at dealer.

One of the terms that I know for it would be the oil filter housing gasket.

thats what i thought. it is leaking there i believe.

There or could be your front main seal. Usually it would be your front main seal if its leaking around that area. Could also be part of your oil pan gasket. Degrease/clean around there and just take a small drive and then look under. You might be able to see it better that way.
