Default injector question

So I am walking thru LHQ today, and I find a 2gen eclipse that has not been raped, I pop the hood and motor, turbo, everything is there. So I don't rape it I just remove the injectors, I am a honda guy and I have heard it is common you use your injectors in turbo hondas. So my question I get home start reading the how tos, every where I read it says blue tops, mine are black are these 450cc injectors or did I waste money on them, also I need a resistor box from the same car, not 30 min later I returned and there was little left of the eclipse. So if you guys know what other resistor box will work that would be great. Sorry so long. Rafael@ilovehondas.com

the 2Gs had black 450 injectors which had a better spray pattern. they will work for what your trying to do. The resistor is on the firewall and is a metal box about 4 inches long. get that with the connector off the harness and youll be good.

I have one. $30 (727)647-0680

You can also read the numbers on the side, it will have a letter in front of the 3 numbers for the injector size...(ie) b450

honda use low ohm inj. 2-3 ohm's the inj. on the mitsuishi turbo inj. is 2-3 ohm's the non tubro is 16-18 ohm's. That is the reason for the res.pack for ecu. It's not needed for the Honda because it is rated for the same ohm's. Check on some of the honda web site and you will find that it is not needed.

If you are running mitsu injectors on a honda you need the resistor box from a DSM.

Certain Honda injectors are saturated where as DSMs are peak/hold.
