I Got A 99 Eclipse Gs With A Rebuilt Motor And A Bolt On T3 Turbo.... 84000 Miles.. Just Bought It And Dont Know Where To Start. Obviously The Person Who Installed This Turbo Didnt Do Such A Good Job.... It Has An Exhaust Manifold Leak...... Extreme Loss Of Power.... I Need To Know Wehre To Find The Gasket.... I Just Plain Out Need Someone Who Can Fix And Tune My Car And Make It Run Like It Should.... Its The Most Embarrasing Turbo Car Ive Been In. And Its Mine.... Someone Help Me!!!

Have you checked with the dealership for the gasket?

 

give me a call. i have a rst and i will try to help you tomorrow if you would like. i have a wide band and other shit to help you to an extent. i will call hunntyr and see what he thinks. there are only about five of us 420a turbos here on the board

 

You could probably just go to Advance Auto Parts or AutoZone for the Exhaust Manifold Gasket. Now if you need the manifold/turbo gasket then you would have to order it or find out if a local shop has a T3 Gasket. Where exactly is the Turbo leaking air? Are there any bolts loose?

 

for a t3 gasket you can get the from a nissan dealer they came out of there older cars...

what color is this i have a feeling i know which one it is ... white car black rims and carbon fiber hood, tan leather?

When you say your turbo is leaking air through everywhere, is it your turbo itself or are you loosing boost pressure and you cant find the air leak???

 

that might be the problem right there...... boost leak.
