yesterday i put in a new alternator, it was running fine all day then i went to clearwater to take my friend to get a car. when we were leaving i lost power thinking it was a bad ground but now it wont start im thinking its the starter or a bad ground. i was wondering if anyone can think of anything else it could possibly be, any input appriciated thanks matt

 

i have had this problem for a while and i finally fixed it by putting a ground strap to the engine(specifically the intake maifold) from the firewall....does the alternator have a ground? if so check that too

 

I've had pleanty of issues with the ground on the alternator. I would check that out first.
