How are you tuning, is it more difficult? What is the rest of your setup?

Have you ever used nitrous on a DSM?
What exactly is it you like better about larger turbos and no nitrous.

If I had to pick one reason I'd rather run a larger turbo instead of a smaller one with a N2o shot, then it would be ease of use with a simpler setup, also cheaper.
I personally learned about Nitrous use when I was driving Fbodys. Some would use cheap $500 dollar kits that had no safety systems, and were more prone to destroying the engine. I would end up buying every safety device, in hope it would make up for any lack of knowledge or mistake I could possibly make. That's how the expense overwhelms the larger turbo setup...for myself
If others feel they know it well and trust the cheap setups, I'm glad. But, that is the pure reason I would rather a larger turbo.
We could argue about how nitrous can be cheap and easy power, and I still won't listen. (I'm stubborn LOL)I have my beliefs and you have yours, I'll pass on the argument.
Actualy I dont use nitrous.
I have in the past. The nice thing about the smaller turbos like a evo316g is they spool almost insantly and make real good power. Enough for most people. The nitrous comes into play if you want say another 50-100hp with out loosing the great spool up of the 16g. I rarely came across a car that i need the nitrous to beat. But it was there if I needed it.
I have since gone to a larger turbo with no nitrous (for now).
I am now using a methenol injection set up and dont want to use nitrous with it.
Plus the class i want to run in doesnt allow nitrous.
I also never said nitrous was cheap. Nor did I imply I wanted to argue about anything.
I have no interest in argueing. I just like to inform and educate.
I have seen more people blow their motor on large turbos than nitrous also.

Well said.
For some reason or another Ive always been iffy with nitrous. It could be due to how it was portrayed in a certain movie, but Ive always wanted to play around with it, just not on a daily driver.
