Default question for eclipse drivers

ok, my friend is trying to convince me that his a 95 saturn(stock internals) with a ford probe turbo and kit at 9 lbs. will beat my gst with small 16G at 12lbs open dp. what do you think. his theroy for the saturns win is power to weight. i weigh 3200 he weighs 2400 hes saying my about 80hp or more diff. is not enough to make up for the weight diff. ????? opinions...and yes i know its a saturn.

Saturns are the biggest POS to turbo. I think the fastest saturn runs like a 12, maybe a high 11. I dont think it would beat you but even if it did, he still drives a saturn.

He probably would.... My boy has a turbo saturn and with the stock motor turbo at 10 psi he ran a 13.3 @ 104 on slicks. The kit was all Garbage at that point in time.... starion fmic, horrible 2" i/c pipes, t3 turbo, volvo bov, open dp, untuned. The car is a blast to drive and pretty damn quick considering what it is. IMO the 1.9 dual cam motor is very boost friendly and gives pretty good results! check this website out http://qksltwo.com/home.html

Well I guess it will all depend on who has a better traction. Weight difference does give advantages.

+1
This wont get anywhere. I could say I beat you all day long just because of this or that but until we actually run we will never know. So step up and race. The worst that could happen would be you loosing and thats just motivation to mod some more.

ok out come the butt pirates.....i was just wondering what you all thought. i guess i should drive all the way to tampa to race him. i was just trying to have my friend see that not everyone would think his way as far as its a certain kill for the saturn. ill run him no problem win or loose. my biggest issue is gonna be traction.ill try and get it on vid. when i set it up.
