Theoretically by deleting the EGR valve you car would be running better. The EGR valve recirculates exhaust gasses to try and lower the combustion temp.

Is your car throwing any codes? Supposedly all 94+ cars had an EGR sensor...

Read about it here:

I still have the EGR on my 95 because it wasnt bothering anything. What are you using to tune with Kevin?? You could just be running rich enough to where you are not blowing smoke but could be consuming fuel like a hog. Plus if you are boosting all the time you can say goodbye to your fuel. Give us an idea of your fuel setup is.

Hey Ender, that link doesnt work..

all that i have to tune with right now is safc 2 and a egt gauge and the begi fuel regulator.but i am not sure that the fuel regulator is at its best tuning right now. i am still new to this stuff. i am running 6 psi of boost. i dont have a walbro 255 but am looking for one though.
