I had this site www.go-dsm.com for less then a year... really got it a few months back. I took parts of it down and decided to go ahead and re-do it. Its still under construction and nothing really works on it right now. I was going to work on it over this weekend but I got caught up in working on my Eclipse and my finance's Eclipse. But here's the thing with the site...

I'm trying to setup a local meet for us DSM owners... could be once a month or 1 day a week. Non-DSM owners are welcome, if you drive a Mitsubishi your more then welcome to hang out and join the fun . Now I know this all depends on everyone's schedule and what hours they work and/or go to school. So if your interested post availibility days/times... for example:

I work Monday-Friday from 7:45am to 4:00pm (This is the actually hrs I work)

Posting this would give a broad idea on what day(s) the meet should be held. I saw some of you were interested in meeting other DSM/Mitsubishi owners so this would be a great idea. Holding just a regular meet every 3 months or so and hanging out for a few hours is great but everyone I've met I don't see till the next meet if I even go or if they even go. With this site I decided to start a "mini" car club. Ok so you hear "Car Club" and you immediately run... well don't because there's no rules or any of that crap. It's just enthusiasts into the same makes of vehicles. If this turns out great I will be having www.go-dsm.com decals made... nothing BIG, something small to put on quarter panel window or something. This is not a requirement to be in the "club" just something that would represent the members who are in including yourself. Well... you don't want to join the club but you still want to go to the meets? Thats fine... come to meets its not club restricted.

Members that join... you'll receieve your own page with details of your car, mods, pictures, etc. ...videos as well as long it doesn't take too much space .

Any suggestions on where we should meet and so fourth are welcome... since I don't have any location in mind. With that said also post where you live, not your exact address but area... example:

I live in St. Petersburg (which is where I do live)

It's all an idea that I found would be cool.

One day we all might be bored so hey lets do a DSM/Mitsubishi cruise and hang out at the beach or maybe one day were all hungry so hey lets go take over a Bennigans... just ideas lol, would be cool if it happened.

Now comes the part... well my DSM/Mitsubishi is broken down or has been sitting. Well, I'm sure if one of us are in the area we could pick you up. The more people, the more knowledge we have and gain about these cars. I'm still learning and this is my 4th 1g DSM lol.

that sounds like a good ideal due to the fact that there is knowledge in numbers.
i live in plant city which out of the way for every one, but tampa isnt to far away for any-one really.
i work over night sun-wed so any other day and time would be good.i would like to meet alot of the dsm owners on TR in person.lol

other than that everything sound fine and dandy especially having a place to upload videos. but the whole dsm meet idea has been something we have been trying to do forever. it seems no matter how many people say will show up usually they dont and its always the same people that actually are present. I mean my room mates and I actually hosted one at our house and bribed people with food and drinks and still everyone didnt show up.

 

Well its not really advertisement... I'm not selling anything on the site... It doesn't have a forum/message board either. Just seeing if I can get something going. If I give a date and time not all would be able to make it, this is why I'm wanting to see everyone's schedule to work around it. I've noticed that the orlando club dsm throws 2 picnics a year and I went to one... it was a great turn out.

Well so far I have 2 people interested, 1 emailed me.

 

If it's an hour or less from Springhill I'd be interested in going.
