Throwing code P0300
Yeah the car starts like shit in the mornings. Will stall two or three times before I can keep it running.

had the same. my case......i had change the plugs first (to the correct gap) it went away for a day then i came back. so i change the wires. no luck. after a week or so i pulled the plugs and the gap had widened to 50+.......it had gotten so lean(hot) that it started to heat the arm of the plug to the point of starting to fall off. but it had just widened before i caught it.

Fellas, if you still trying to figure this out, I just got my car back on the road with the problems solved. The first symptom I was dealing with was a massive misfire when I got up to 10 PSI or more of boost... The solution to this was replacing Igniter. Short after I was experiencing the P0300 Random misfire code, which was triggered when the car was ran steadily at arround 3500 RPMs in any gears pass the 3rd, this was caused by bad coil packs. Its true that the first thing before spending you money you should first check the spark plugs and the wires. Always get the spark plugs recommended for this car, doesnt matter how much better other plugs are said to be, It really makes a difference. It took me a while to figure it, but I hope it helps.
FYI: the car has 2 coil packs ($85.00 Each) and 1 igniter right next to the coils ($115) dont get ripped off.

if you tested boost leaks and it was fine i would run bpr7es gapped to 24 then if problem still there then i would get oem wires , cam sensor , or coolant temp sensor if have problem starting in the morning will cause car to run rich then resort to the ecu for burns or melted caps
HOLY fuck were grave diggin.....lol yeah im on the aem now. i wish these were my problems then that means my car is running..lol
But besides that the manifold is being shipped to me now as we speak. So next weekend ill be out with the car........

Anyways i solved this problem back in march of 06 and it was bad wires. Just if anyone wanted to know.

I got the P0300 error after 3 weeks of changing the coil packs, yet again. At the same time, I was dealing with a bad clutch (thanks to Spec Clutch's poorly designed aluminum flywheel) I was forced to run the car with a very slow aceleration, at around 5K RPM, I felt the car studder and all of the sudden "SERVICE ENGINE SOON", you guessed it, P0300. This time, I changed the "Exhaust Gas Recirculating Valve". It turns out that CO built up jamming the valve and leaving it open at all times. This made a dramatic change during decel (while engage) as well, as a clear sounding exhaust.
Good luck to those with this problem. Hope this helps.
