datalogger
I just got a datalogger and need helpreading some of the stuff. When idle or driving my intake airflow rate always stays at 0. Is that normal also both o2 sensors read erradic. They jump from 80...800...120...760...ect. The only time it read a steady number was when i punch it. One read 940 the other read 960. upgrades are 14b turbo, manual boost controller,3' downpipe straight threw to muffler,255 fuel pump, turbo intake,safc2,pods...ect. Engine has check light on when had it checked out it said maf was bad. Car runs like timing being held back. Got front mount for it and the gm maf is on order. Any input would be appreciated.
where are you located? if you want to swing through one of these days to try and diagnose the problem just pm me.

The O2's are supposed to cycle like that. If you've ever seen a blinky-light A/F gauge you've seen the same thing, only blinkier. (Probably not a word.)
If you're reading 0hz from your MAF, it's probably unplugged, bad, or the wiring is fubar somehow. Any of those would go along nicely with the MAF CEL. The car should be running really poorly, though, worse than you described.

not really that bad. it was at one point but twin cam fixed it some. Just slow. Idle alittle up and down but she doesn't shut off. When she first started acting up holy cow. I think the gm maf that i should be getting on friday and installing this weekend should help alot. Let you know how it goes. I will probably need her tuned again since I'll be upgrading. If anybody want to help me tune i would appreciate it. I don't know how the gm is going to affect my safc. Maybe alittle maybe none at all.
You should be able to set the GM maf for your injectors and make only fine adjustments with the SAFC. I'm not sure you even need the SAFC now- I don't know how far the tuning abilities of the MAF-T have come since I last read into it.
Yea but i don't know how to tune the safc. For that matter i don't know how to tune the maf either but i believe it's plug n play. It's a learning progress but if you care to show me after i install everything that's cool too.
I've only played with an SAFC for an hour or so. I've never tuned a car with one. You can do anything I could do if you read the SAFC tuning guide linked in the FAQ thread at the top of this forum.
