engine swap

i have a 1995 dodge neon and i want to do an engine swap, i just wanted to know what mitsubishi engines would fit? Will a v-6 out of a 2000 eclipse work?

You might be better served going to the Dodge forum. I think the engine from the SRT-4 is a better fit than anything Mitsu, or at least the block. A guy in this forum has a 98 Neon with an SRT-4 hybrid in it.

the only "mitsubishi" engine that will fit without a lot of modification is the 420A from the 2nd gen eclipse, and it will still require a lot of work
