My friend Sean took his Eclipse there and when he got it back 2 of the manifold studs had been broken off and the intercooler pipe was blown off which only happens on his car when you are really getting on it.

i am very skeptical about taking my car anywhere, especially to the dealer, i do all the mechanical work myself, after bringing the car home i inspected their work and made sure all the bolts were tightened, every bolt went back in were it came from too, i was shocked!

Sorry to hear that about your friends car "MitsubishiMike".
how did they break off the manifold studs? too much boost? LOL

+ 2 for Brandon Mitsubishi. I had a novel of a thread about them about a month back. Oh yeah, on top of all the other shit they did to my car, I also found out that those fucktards left out the bolts to my rear engine mount, while doing my rear main seal, thus fucking up ALL my motor mounts.....WHICH by the way, the Brothers (Rob and Dave), took the liberty of replacing for me.

By the way guys, I know they get alot of rep on this board already, but if you ever need work done on your car, Rob and Dave really know their stuff, and you can't beat their pricing for their work. They are very thorough and seem to make sure everything is "done right the first time".

He said he thought that maybe they thought there was an exhaust leak or something and tightened it down to much.

I bought my car used but it still had warrenty left from the dealership and I needed a water pump and tensioner I believe it was this was back like 2 and half years ago, but took my car to Lokey Mitsubishi and they wash the car every time you take it there for service well the work to my car was fine, but when I got home with my car I noticed this stuff that was splattered all over my front windshield and I noticed one big spot on my carbon fiber hood that was all funny looking. Well it turned out that someone that washed the car took a buffer to my hood and there was wax splattered everywhere. They don't wax your car for free. The worst part was they did one spot on the hood and that was it and didn't even clean up the wax that was dried up on it. I guess they thought that it wasn't noticable. So I took it back and they fixed it.

I also kept complaining about my paint job since it is a 99 and the black was turning white, so I got a free paint job.
