well, since my Neon is officially finished...or close enough to it anyway, i decided I wanted another project car...this time it happened to be a DSM because I wanted AWD, its quite a project at this time, a 91 Eagle Talon TSI, I should have it back together and running within a couple months, you'll probably see me on here looking for parts and occasional advice or help...havent owned a DSM since I got rid of my original 93 Eclipse NT(4g63) about 3 or 4 years ago

Dude I just scrolled down and saw this post. How can you come in giving advice on a car you dont even know about? I am by far no expert but I have owned my car for 4 years now and had a 95 gst for 2 years before that. I now live with BROTHERS who give me an unlimited amount of knowlege and im right next door to the one of the DSM Gods Lancerman. I only post when A I know the answer or have had a similar problem. or B I ask dave and rob jerry or even john just to try and help someone out. Over the years I have realized that owning a DSM is not like owning any other car they are temperamental and have mind of their own.

 

whoa! I said REJOINED, I have owned several DSMs before and know them fairly well, as well as cars and motors in general(having rebuilt engines, swapped them, turbocharged them, and modified them for years), and in my experience any car can be tempermental...though I do admit DSMs are more tempermental than most
