want to buy a 16 valve twin cam 90-94 eagle talon or mitsubishi eclipse engine?
also will like to ask if the 16 valve twin cam engine will fit the tranny of the 1.8 liter engine on the talon?

 

Are you considering a swap on a 1.8 car? You should skip past the 2.0 non-turbo and do a 2.0 turbo swap, if you're going to go through the trouble of swapping it. There is, however, a 2.0 NT engine in the FS forum right now. Also, please post a proper WTB in there if you do decide to go ahead with this.

We understand that... were wondering if the car already has a 1.8 and your putting in a 2.0 non-turbo engine in it and trying to bolt the 1.8 transmission to it? Because there's actually more to that swap then just dropping it in.

 

i know have to change ecu and harness, i believe thats it from the info i have gotten

 

I would check threads in dsmtalk.com ... there's a 1.8 forum and they have done a few 1.8 to 2.0 swaps. Also they might be able to answer the question about the 1.8 tranny bolting on to the 2.0 N/T engine.
