Default 3g Gs-t

Well we finally have the kit finished and intsalled in the car. It was a 100% success! There are still a few bugs we need to work out, but for the most part, the car is running great! The night I took it home I got a chance to run a cobalt SS from a roll of about 40, and took him with no problem....I still have yet to come across an STi or a skittle...

We are running 11 psi, stock internals/tranny. 440 injectorswith an FMU and an MAS modification. Garrett t3/t4, FMIC. Some time this week, I am to bring the car back to the shop to have the manifold, turbine housing, and downpipe redone on the shiney silver. Also, an e-manage and fuel pump will be installed and a few dyno runs will be made.

a few pics:

Lemme know what you guys think.

Thanks for the comments! Yeah, thats the log style manifold. Its sorta fugly, but it gets the job done. In time though, a tubular one will be on there. I would like to see just how far i can push this one before it becomes inefficient.

As far as power- I'd like to say I am in the 230~240 whp range. But I am not 100% certain. Only the dyno will know for sure. I am going to do do a few runs with and without the emanage...

Looks good. What kind of power can the stock block hold? That's a 4g64 SOHC, right?

thats right, 4G64 SOHC. We have run 21 psi on this motor. Stock block/tranny with an aftermarket clutch and flywheel. The car put down 319whp/321wtq. At 17 psi, it hit 310whp/314wtq. There isnt much of a difference when the boost is raised up from 17 to 21. I believe this is due to the inefficency (sp?) of the cam/SOHC head. These tests were run on a 2001 m/t RS, using the greddy emanage.

Ferktech:I love Bert's constant DSM abuse pictures. Apexi crankwalk controller is set to 68% while the main bearing damage indicator is tuned to a near perfect 42%. Chances of DSM survival, close to zero. Thank god you've got a V6 Mopar GT with aluminum can pistons which break off in chunks and destroy valves. Showed those 4 cylinder boys how to fuck up an engine the right way. Crankwalk pish posh, we fling high speed metal parts here!
