i'm like || close to getting mike's (91tsi_awd) 95 talon and it has a assload of holes where the stock wing was located, looks better with tape and holes but still needs addressed.

i need to know if there was any of the base models made without a wing, or if there's anywhere i could get a undrilled hatch.

would seem like a hell of alot 'me friendly' then doing the obvious filling the gaps, i am a welder so if need be that's how it'll get done, but i hope there's an easier and less annoying means.

 

I wanna say only the talon base model 2g's didnt come with a wing but could be wrong.I'm pretty sure the hatches are interchangeable and easily found.

 

I believe all 2gs had the low wing or the high wing.

 

no wrong there was a base model eclipse the hatch came wiht out a wing with i got mine i didn't want power or anything option that might break and mine didn't have a wing till i put mine on there hard to come by i think it was just the 2dr coupe not rs though

looked over vfaq and 1000q but... nothing yet. anyone know if it's in there somewhere? or a where to find a break down of the models/trims?

i thought the RS was the base model eclipse?

 

Remember that the 2g talons came with different spoilers then the 2g eclipses. This is a picture of a stock 2g talon with spoiler. Not sure if you can use a base model low 2g spoiler and have it bolt up in all the same places.

 

Yeah I don't think it would bolt up at all, maybe just stick with wingless and get the holes filled? I think the Talon wings are better looking than the Eclipse ones. Isn't there an even bigger wing than that though? I though I saw a Talon with a bigger one.

 

Might have been aftermarket. AFAIK that is the only spoiler that came on the talons and it was standard. Then again I might be wrong since I don't touch or care much for anything 2g.

 

the 95-96 talons have a much smaller less gay wing on them, it was more like a little wedge that came off the window

 

well, i guess i should have been more specific...
the talon did originally have the 'small' wing, but even it's too much. i plan on going completely without, and wanted to know if they made any hatches without any holes?
