Default Copher's

Anybody have any experience going to Copher's U Pull It? Do they tend to have a good amount of 2G's up there. I'm looking to possibly get some replacement parts there for the Eclipse. My sunroof visor's cloth is sagging and I'd like to get some replacement ones. I'll probably snag some other parts for it as well.

Is it a pay a flat amount and all you can pull deal, or do you pay for each part? Which location do you guys go to, as I know there are a few around. I'm in the Brandon area and I know there's one off of Hillsborough in Tampa, but I think I recall someone saying there's one near Brandon as well. Please correct me if I wrong though. If there is one in Brandon though, if someone could give me the approximate location, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I went up to Brandon Auto Salvage, and those dicks didn't even give me the time of day. I even offered to go pull the visors myself and still pay their asking price, but they don't allow anybody back there. Obviously, the guy new I wasn't buying a big, expensive part, so he didn't even attempt to help me, fucking pricks.

Mainly the sun roof visors. My drivers side door panel seems to be getting a little weak too. When I go to shut it, it seems the interior door handle trim is getting pretty loose. May buy a front bumper too if there are any in good condition. Mines showing it age from over the years. Unfortunately, daily driving into downtown Tampa will do that to a car. I think my ISC motor is going as well, I've been getting some idle surge sporadically as of late.

Hell, it'd be nice if they had one of those all you can pull deals. I'd rip out a bunch of the electronics and other expensive parts. Shit, you could probably make a side business doing that.

Thanks for the heads up Julian.

cophers is now called LJQ auto parts or something like that, and it now sucks, I went there with my friend to get some parts for his 1g, and they had them, but they went up like crazy on their parts, it used to be cheap, now it's like they are smacking you in the face and saying "go to ebay!" but there is a place down the road from them called Magic used auto parts, they are good, they pull the parts for you and they have a lot of late model imports..... and their prices arent too bad

Awesome, thanks for the heads up Kevin. When you say down the street, I'm assuming you mean off of Hillsborough?

I remember somebody here mentioning (about a year ago or so, can't find the thread anymore), about someone who has plenty of 2G's in stock most of the time. I think he said the yard was located out in the Lakeland area, but don't quote me on that. Damnit, it's hard trying to find uncommonly replaced parts for this car.

I suppose I could take my existing visor covers and have them reupholstered somewhere, though I'll probably get raped in the ass if I go that route.

Magic UAP is on the same street as Cophers in Clearwater 40th ST. As far as good prices $100 for a side glass for a 92 Civic? $20.00 at Cophers if they have it $35 @ select on 118th. Just call around to find them. I go to LKQ formerly Cophers once a week. Still cheaper than 99% of the yards but you gotta pull it and inventory always changes.
