4g63 help
ok eclipse guys and gals i need some help. I need a new engine for my eclipse. its a 99 gs. Does the4g63 engine from 90-94 fit or do i have to get a different engine?.....Please get back at me asap... ty.

From the FAQ at the top-
"Is it possible to swap a 4G63 into my RS/GS eclipse?
Anything is possible, but this is not practical. There will be a lot of custom fabrication needed and the motor mounts will not match up. You are probably better of just buying a turbo'ed DSM."
Short version- the 4G63 doesn't fit unless you have a GS Spyder (convertible). You need to rebuild the engine that's in there or find another from a 95-99 non-turbo.
