any suggestions on taking out the abs on my 92 awd talon?
i have some ideas, just wanted to see if s/o has done it b/f or has other ideas.

Its was real easy with the motor out of the car.

 

You have to get a non-abs proportioning valve and front brake lines from the valve to the wheel well. I think that might be all but I'm not sure.

 

From what i can rememeber that is correct. I did my 93 talon a while back and while it was a bitch, it was pretty straight forward, just time consuming. A few other essential tools will be a set of flare wrenches and this little tool that looks like a small set of hand held bolt cutters. The reason for the second one is because you will want to cut the old front lines out of the car if you are leaving the engine in. Go to a junk yard and find a non-abs 1G and get the proporting valve (on the firewall) and the front lines.

 

I'm sorry don't mean to sound like a dick but why do you want to take it off.

 

Because early ABS is terrible and it saves some weight.
