Well, today I'm pulling out my drive way to go pass by John's house(LS1fever) to go pick up a valve cover for my car and while im in reverse I slow down by pushing in the brake pedal(duh)...and next thing i know, i get tossed around in my car cause my brakes locked up...its almost as if i pulled the e-brake up hard/fast as hell...So I trying moving back forward and nothing...car wont move...almost as if i have the e-brake on...i give it a few mins...and wam, i can move forward and reverse again, but as soon as i tap the brake pedal....yup, you guessed it...freaking brakes lock up like if I were about to engage a head on collision or something...Any ideas as to what this might be guys???

also, everytime i push in the clutch pedal it makes this weird, not that quiet "woosh" sound....

Possibly...Hey who was the one who started the idea for fellow dsmer's to come to each others house to diagnois each others cars when they go bad? lol...I could really use some help right now...

 

Could you get it to the meet this sunday? We're pulling an engine and doing other stuff anyway, maybe somebody could help you figure it out. I personally haven't done much with brakes, so I don't know how much help I can be, but we might be able to figure something out.

 

maybe if I drive doing 40mph and only downshifting and using the e-brake to stop, than maybe...I live off of hillsborough ave and habana ave (tampa, for those of you who live elsewhere)

 

Welcome to my world... Im still trying to fix my problem. Ive done all new calipers and rotors and I just replaced the master cylinder last night Ill let you know if it helped I havent had a chance to see..

 

Yeah get it to the meet on sunday. We'll figure it out.

 

I cant say Id recommend driving it though if the brakes are locking up...

 

hey ender maybe u can swing by too at my place..the more the merrier....i'll order pizza or something...i just need someone t look at it...so far ls1fever is coming over today for sure....
