Evo questions.
Intake is pointless to try to go faster unless you are already in the 11s. Countless people have run 11s and even 10s with the stock intake. I have actually seen people with aftermarket intakes over stock intakes lose power and that be the only thing they change.
And I'm talking real 12s. Like 12.4-12.5 not 12.9 once then say you run 12s and it takes more then a TB and flash to do that, but not much more.

Evo's are sick when moded. My friend have a 2003 stock and they are a little bit slower, than the new ones. He runs high 13's which is alright.
Also I read in a Car and Driver that the evo RS is actually faster than the MR, because of weight reduction
The MR also costs like $8k more and many say it's not worth it.
I think RS cost like 28k and the MR is like $36k.
When you get a Evo just be careful the stock clutch is kinda crappy and mistu will void your warrantly like there is no tomorrow.
I love Evo's, they have so much potential. I have video's of stock tubo evo's running 10's.

I would buy a used one in a heart beat. But I also know these cars like the back of my hand. I am not scared of these cars breaking on me like so many people are for some reason.

yea, my boys stock clutch pretty much got owned at like 7k on his mr, but he is a dumbass and he didnt kno how to launch it, pretty much owned his warranty. but i think the main main diff on the mr and rs is the bilstein suspension. besides that doesnt matter. a normal evo still has better suspension than an sti. mr is just another kick up. thats about it.
