k.. well i have an eclipse rs. = really slow. yea.. i kno. why did i buy it blah blah blah. k well anyways, i was thinking.. is it worth it actually getting into it and actually worth with an engine swap and doing 1million things, or am i just better getting another/new car.......?

 

your going to hear the same thing over and over. it takes a LOT of time and a LOT of money for the swap. It is better off to buy one already turbo.

 

Yep, sell it and buy a stock turbo.

 

Its not worth putting alot of money into an RS, unless your just going for looks. I also have an RS but im planning on selling and getting a GST. Maybe you should too.

 

Take it from me...sell the rs and get a gst/gsx...I had an rs before, it was nothing more than just empty promises.I for one cant stand not having power window/locks

well.. yea i think im just going to make it look nice while i get another car. do any 4th gen have turbo? :/ i also got a montero xls, so ill have another car if i get rid of the rs right now.. but eh.. what to jump into is the next question. my friend has a gsx, has tons of problems. i mean shit i love mitsu, but alot of my boys have problems with them. another boy has an evo8 mr, fucked up clutch at 5k miles, and fucked up tranny at 8k.. and he doesnt even rag on it like wtf? ;\

 

no turbo since 99, but the new gt has a lot more power than the previous years. they also cost about 28 grand so....
ps. theyre ugly too

 

THe 05 evo has given my girlfriend zero problems. Don't know wtf your friend's been doing. GST = good.
