just need some ideas we are thinking about the defi bf but still undecided
All depends on what the use of the gauges are. I think peak/hold would be a little overkill for something like an oil pressure gauge. Also depends on what management system you are using and what you will be logging.
For something like boost, I personally like the greddy 60mm peak/hold w/s/b gauge but it is really hard to find in the 3bar version and well, I would ASSUME you are giong to be running more then 2bar so it would be kind of pointless. Also I don't think defi makes a 3bar gauge either. Find out what and what you need out of them and then find what fits that purpose.

TRUE YEA I AM GOING TO RUN LIKE 38 PSI TO 40 PSI AND RUNNING AEM SO I AM GOING TO probably have to run 2 boost gauges 1 for vac and boost and then 1 for max boost still undecided
Then find what companies sell gauges that read 40psi and then go from there on size and styles you like.
Since you have the aem ems and will be logging everything(I assume) a peak hold gauge is not really needed but wouldn't be bad when you are just doing pulls to check out little things like where your boost controller is set at and what not without having to bust out the lappy and go through logs, just for quick reference type bs.

true i am going to run the aem wideband also so the list of gauges i am going to use is
boost 0-60
boost 30/30
oil pressure
water temp
egt
fuel pressure
aem wideband
If money is no object, get the DEFI gauge set for sure (especially if you are planning to get a lot of gauges, it actually cancels out the initial cost).
