when i make a sharp turn left or right i get a lot of drag and a loud clunk and the car jerks. sounds like it is comiing from the transfer or center diff. not sure thats why im asking.

 

make sure that the transfer case is bolted in tight.

 

good idea never even thought of checking to see if it came loose. Ill let you know how it goes.

 

x case is on nice and tight which is good but not the problem. Yo dave hit me up(aka Brothers). You think you could come and take a look at it and let me know what you think.

 

Well figured out what the problem is. center diff took a shit on me. Well time to by a new centerdiff from tre now. Any suggestions where else to get one.

 

see..... you left the car with the stock clutch all this time and now it cant handle that manly clutch.... lol... but all jokes aside. that sucks a big one one though.

 

john give me your tranny man. j/k What i think it was, was when i bought the car it had to different tires on it, a lower profile tires in the front and a taller tre in the back. drove around like this for at leasr 4 months until i read that different tires like that would kill your center diff. And about 3 to 4 months ago it seemed like i had a welded center diff then one day making a u turn the back tire wasnt chirping any more like it did when i got the car. so i kind figured it was on its last days and that was before i bought your clutch from you john. but i dlo love that clutch thou.
