belt problem
hey i was wondering if i could get some info i have a 1992 talon 2.0L and my alt belt will not stop making noises i have put a new belt on it and so many different noise stoppers on it and it doesnt work. the belt is tight. it will only really squeak when it is cold and when you start it up. i am thinking it is one of the pulleys but i dont know can anyone help.

First solution, stop putting belt dressing shit on it. Those make it worse. How much slack is there, and are you sure its the alt belt?

ok ill stop putting that crap on yea im petty sure because before the alt belt was getting ate away and braking so i been keeping an eye on it on i when through 3 belts and this one been doing fine for about 3 weeks now. there is not a lot of slack in the belt.
