Default Clutch or Tranny problems

i was driving my car today in traffic put the car into first gear i move no problem...i go into second my car kinda jerks alittle i hear a pop and now i cant get into any gear with the car on. If the car is off i can get into 1-5 but not reverse. My pedal pressure seems to be acting up as well its very soft ...when i let off the clutch pedal the point where it grabs is almost at the floor which is not where it usually grabs

my slave and master clyinder were replaced not to long ago and the fluid is full

only drivetrain mod i have is an ACT 2100 w/ organic disc which was put in about 15-20k miles ago

Have you adjusted the clutch pedal? I'm only saying this because I had a similar problem after swapping my motor. No sudden noise like a pop but I had to adjust that and the gears went in smoothly rather than forcing it when it woudln't go in....hope that helps.

sounds like a good place to start, the clutch pedal assembly including the master cylinder...
any updates?

still waiting for the guy to call me back i ruled out the hydrualic system for now just because i had the slave and master replaced in the last 6 months or so and when i got off the road there were no signs of leaks and the fluid was filled completly...but i could be wrong

i hope its not the tranny ive gone through tranny problems in my maxima(auto) ate up 4 rebuilt trannys....and i had to sell the car

i had some problems like that with my car. first i woyld simply check the bracket tjat the shifter cushing go on under the hood are still on, the take out the slave cylinder, and replace the seal in it. it is a small o-ring. sometimes the added stress can cause that seal to blow. just my .02
