electrical system screwed up
well, after replacing the heater line(which broke), i removed my battery, and when i put it back in, drove down the road, and the car cut out...then i saw a bunch of smoke comin from under the hood. i got really scared, but it wasnt anything really serious....my positve terminal was touching the firewall, which made alot of smoke and somehow frye my throttle cable??? so the throttle cable got stuck and im guessing it melted and got stuck in there. and then there was smoke comin out of my brake line at the brakes.. and now the brake line is broken and leaks. the car started u;p again fine after this, but now after not starting it for a few days, it wont start again and i tried to jump start it, but it didnt work, it looked like it was about to crank but then just stopped. im charging the battery right now and ill try again, but theres just random wires going everywhere and theres one thats not connected to anything, ive never seen it before and it was never connected to anytrhing visible...any help? i guess you kinda have to see it to help.

i would check the burnt wiring completely out to prevent future issues, see how bad it really is, maybe the wire to starter burned up the rest of the way as the starter tried to draw more juice than the melted and crusty wire could handle.
ditto that...and you could have burned up the batt. it basicaly ran power through the frame of the car witch is a constant ground....trake down all the burnt line's and replace then but hey stuff happens no big deal

I told you it might be the battery, cause the starter is clicking like it's getting some voltage but not enough.

ok seems like when i try to start it, the battery drains instantly......liek its fine, and then i thy to start it, all the lights go dim, and all the lights like the cel and rear view mirrow lights turn off and the battery is dead after that.
