Has anybody ever switch from 7 bolt to 6 bolt in a 2g?

It's throwing me a CEL and running really weird. I already went through this with my 2g CAS, which I switched with a 1g CAS. Was running fine for a while just like the 2g was but now it's doing the same thing. Any suggestions?

Somebody mentioned DSM link to me, but I don't know how much that costs and all that shit. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

600 bucks +shipping, ehhh fuck. Im spending $500 (deductable) to get front of the car's body beautified through insurance . Don't have anything else. This is fucking bullshit. $2,000 and the car is running worse than it was b4 i had the 6 bolt put in. WTF mate? Anybody heard anything else?

try to reset the ecu...dusconnect the battery...is it like missfiring? you might have to do that for a while until you get a datalogger or dsmlink.

 

For fuck's sake man. I asked Jerry, he says, "You may have to get DSM link, but I don't know I don't own a 2g." Fuck.

I'll reset the ECU maybe it will by me some time until I have to reset it again. It's so fucking annoying to drive a peice of shit. Not only does it not run right, it doesn't have AC, and now the fucking exterior is smashed.

 

What year CAS are you using?

 

I don't know. Jerry i guess only replaced the 2g CAS with the 1g CAS.

 

what the heck happened?!?!?! my car got hit by a few crowbars while it was in a parking lot...and it looks like some stupid ricer tried to pry off my wing. this all happened about the time i got the car but they really banged it up.

 

hes using the blacktop 93-94 CAS. that was suppose to fix the problem but i guess it didnt.
