Default TT Problem

I just installed my turbo timer last night.Ok whenever I turn the key one time, and the engine is supposed to shutoff, it keeps running, I know this is normal but now I turn the key the rest of the way, and it completely shuts of the engine like if the timer wasnt even there. Anyone else run into this problem? Any suggestions? Thanx

I bought the harness with it, so it was all just plug and play. I took out the ignition plug, plugged in the harness, plugged the ignition into the harness, and grounded it. My battery was unplugged for so long that I have to type the code in again, but that shouldnt matter.

Where did you ground it to?

I guess I can try and ground it somewhere a bit more sturdy. But could the ground be the thing making my timer do this?

*Edit
The instructions never told me to plug a positive anywhere in the car where it can have constant power, can this be it?

Isnt there only like 3 wires that plug into the ignition, one ground, one ecu speed sensor, and an e-brake warning wire. Try that and post if it works.
