if bucci can almost hit 10's on his set-up i am confident that i can acheive mid 11's on a 16g. it has been done before, and with leess stuff than what i am doing.

and his best time to date is 12.08... unless you are dumpin a TON of money into your car you are not gonna run 11's....

for all of you who doubt the potential of my car, i decided to call and ask somebody who knows wtf they are talking about. so i called a good freind of a freind John Shepherd.i thought you guys might know who he is right?
he said that i should have absolutley no problem in seeing 400hp at the flywheel and high 11's with good driver and track.never said consistent just looking to hit the high 11's but consistent low 12's

 

I believe the 16g record is 11.39 and is held by a guy with an AWD Laser.

Maybe after I run 10s with the 14b, I should try for that record.

Let me know when you plan on running 11s on a 16g in a full weight gvr4 and I'll be there on hand with a wad of cash to bet against you that you can't do it. Start slow, baby steps before pipe dreams.

 

never said that it was gonna be full weight, and i don't really care about your input. but it looks like i'm not gonna be doing it on the 16g eighther. i am gonna sell it to go bigger. i ran into some extra money and am trying to sell some mediocure go fast stuff. so if you know of anyone looking tell them to take a look at my post.

 

So first you're planning on doing it on a 16g now on "something bigger". What's your setup that you plan to run 11s on in the gvr4, you never mentioned it...Ian's opinion should matter to you btw, he has had a gvr4 and worked with Dsms for a while (and has more experience than alot of us on this site) so I'm sure he knows what he's talking about.

 

he is clearly more knowlegeable than john shepherd . i don't like to reveal my setup. plus like i said now i have the funds to go bigger, so why not?
