Default Actual tech question in here....HELP

I tried posting something like this before but I got no answer so I am going to try this a different way. Because I am a 95 I am whats known as an OBD hybrid (meaning having both OBD1 and OBD2 ports) and I cant find the right datalogger software/cable for my car. Now from what I researched, I am not completely OBD2 compliant because it wasnt required until 96 But I can get the cable for the OBD2. However, again from what I researched, the OBD2 cable/software wont work to its full potential on my car. My question is have any of you who have 95's had this same problem and if so what did you do to get around it to datalog???

You could sell the 95 ECU to somebody for DSMlink usage and buy a 96+ ECU.

*edit* You're an NT-T. Forget the DSMlink part, just buy a 96+ ecu.

I appreciate the info the suggestion. Just to let you know though if I did buy a 96+ ecu, it will not work because the ECU pinout/wiring is completely different on the N/T 95 vs a N/T 96+.

The only one I was able to find so far was from www.obd-2.com that may be able to be used on my car. Anyone have any suggestions/comments about them??

I have a datalogger that should work if you have an OBD-II port. I used it in my 97 RS but I don't remember if the 95's have the port or not. I was out at the last DSM meet with it. When's the next 2GNT meet?

I do have an OBD2 port however on the 95 420A models, the ecu pinouts are different so one from a 96+ OBD2 compliant vehicles unfortunately wont work. Thats what the problem was last time I tried someones datalogger.
