i stopped and looked at it. i didnt care for it, maybe it will grow on me though. but, for the 29,000 sticker price i would just get a used evo. 29 grand for an eclipse is fuckin rediculous.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

There are 2 turbo kits out already that should work on the lower-end 4 banger provided some ecu upgrades. One is located in canada and I can't find the link, something like initialspeed.com.

The other is http://www.roadracemotorsports.com/ralliart.htm. The turbo kit on the Ralliart should work on the 4 cyl Eclipse as well because they are the same engine, and since the Eclipse has more room under the hood, so fitment shouldn't be a problem. I would imagine that a little custom ECU work would need to be done though.

28k+ on Ebay for a GT model. I really am waitin' for it to grow on me, but so far I just hate it more and more everytime I look at it. Something about the body lines transition from the front to the back is just

Evo or new Eclipse

Well I realize they're new cars and the price on them will jacked up just like the Evo was upon its release, but wtf...

I'm pretty impressed with it. They have come a long way since the 3g. I don't care for the front bumper, think it kinna looks like a Sunfire. Other than that I like the body and interior. Needs a different front bumper, and wing. The car is 2 inches wider and longer than the 3g and that is because it is on the Galant frame. The Endeavor is also on the Galant frame and they make it in AWD, I would hope the Eclipse would be available in AWD as well. The Spyder Eclipse is to come out some time in Feb. I heard the top will be controlled by hydraulics and also will stow away in the trunk with a hard cover coming up on top of it. So no convert boot hanging on the back. Will be interested in seeing it. I got to drive the GT but it was the auto with the 5gear sportronic. I got it to squak the tires in first with no problem and it was a nice ride. It is a wide trac for no less and handled the curves fine. I liked it quite a bit but not willing to give up my awd and Turbo on my 2nd gen. Overall good car but needs more to get me to buy it.
