I haven't heard of common problems w/those (mainly because I don't follow them) but you should wait to buy an 06 if you're getting a newer vehicle.

yeah they are sloooooooowwww. get a nice 99 gst or gsx if your looking for an eclipse, if you want the newer body style go for the 99's or the 06's you might not be lloking for a 99 though..but thats what most people on here would do if they wanted a newer looking eclipse

Talk about boycott, the best advice someone can give you is to not buy a mitsu at all, get a toyota or a honda, you dont even have to put oil in those sombitches and theyll last 344,555,555,555.24 miles.
