Quick question---Do even the 95-99 GS's still have the 420A in it or the 4j63 and so on? I had a 97 RS but ofcourse the chrysler motor broke down. I am probably going to be looking to by another 95-99 eclipse soon and I don't want the 420A. I hate to say it though if I can't find a resonible price I might just by a older honda civic coupe or hatch. Auto Trader had some ok deals but I'm not sure yet. Thanks for the info.

95-99 RS & GS models have the 420a in them. 95-99 GST & GSX have the 4G63 turbo motor. Now, the earlier years 90-94, they had 4G63 turbo and non turbo versions. 90-94 also had a crappy 1.8 liter motor, which if I am not mistaken was a 4G37. I could be wrong on the engine code but I am pretty sure that is right.
