can you swap a RS engine for a GS-T engine

Question can you swap a RS engine for a GS-T engine

i was just wandering can you swap the RS engine out of my eclipse and put a GS-T. i mean GS-T is FR and so is my car so wouldnt it fit?

It can be done but i heards its expensive. You try posting in Mitsubishi Tech?

no the mounts do not even line up.... its very expensive to get custom mounts made

but would it be cheaper to just put a a GS-T engine in the car make new engine mounts in it than getting a whole new car i all the GS-T that i see are more than 9k where i live just wondering.

You should be able to pick up a GST for much less than 9k, but you will get what you pay for. I was finding sub 100k mile cars for $6000 when I was looking over a year ago.

Messing with the RS is a complete waste of time in mine and many others' opinions. Cutting costs in your quest to go fast, will eventually make you go slow.

you can find them in the 5-10 k range depending on milage

they are bass awyards engines. the POS you have is total opposite of the 4g63 and a waste to even try and modify they are slow and a waste. Just save up for a faster car when you get out of highschool.

and stock 94 hondas are fast ?
