Default eclipse 98 springs

yea i got a question i hope someone can help me, i lowered my car like two months ago with coilovers but they were killin my tires and hittin hard everytime i went thru a bump, i removed the coilovers but someone told me that i could cut the springs only 1 or 2 inches i want to know if thats going to bounce too much of anything bad might happen to my car if i do , pls lmk

do not cut/heat springs. they arent meant to be cut/heated. just buy some lowering springs or just raise your coilovers up some. your ride height is too low and your camber is way off.

If you cut your springs, it will be ajilllion times worse than it is now. Just save your money and buy some springs, dont ever just use coilovers to lower your car, they will tear everything up.

i'll sell you some H&R springs 2" front 1.75back for 80bucks..
they're 240 brand new.. will ride a hell of a lot better than coilovers

bro these people know nuttun cut the springs best ride you will ever have..... jfwu do some tein springs they drive p[retty close to stock feeling imo....

never ever cut your springs, if your going to keep your coilovers, you need to buy a camber kit, it will staighten everything back straight so that you do not rub tires, it will save you alot on tires, if not you will go through them.

I agree with everyone dont ever cut your springs man save the money and get some springs i love eibachs pro kit its the perfect ride height and should not bounce although i think i got screwed when i bought mine they were used and i think they were cut cause my shit is bouncy as hell.

maybe ill buy the ones off brandon if you dont.

Yep, don't cut em!

I have eibach's. Had them for 2 years. Have yet to install them, so I can't help you about the ride quality.
