the only advice i was giving was that if your motor is about to crankwalk, You should put a 6 bolt in its place. Cause most not all most 7 bolts will walk some take longer then others thats all
When giving advice that is based upon your opinion, its ideal to preface the statement as such, rather than passing it off as fact.
If you go to the casino and play a hand of blackjack and win, it does not mean that every time you go to the casino, you will win money. I have personally seen a 7 bolt disprove your statement, and it only takes one.
All bullshit aside, I do agree with you that a six bolt motor swap is a smart move if you plan on going fast in a 2g dsm, because the extreme outliers in a sample of reliability of 7 bolt blocks do not dictate the mean. It would be equally ignorant of me to claim that every 7 bolt motor will last forever, because I happened to see one hold up.
