Default DSMer in need

Im in need of some help. I need some people to help me take a shortblock out of my 95 AWD and put a 98 GSX longblock in. I have the engine hoist but no tools. Ive done work on some cars but never a motor swap. Since it is a 95 car and a 98 motor, the CAS needs to be rewired and I dont want to touch that. Im tired of waiting on people now and I just want my car. If anyone is willing to help, please let me know. If I cant do it tomorrow, then next weekend is fine I guess. The motor is just sitting in front of my car and has been for the past 3 weeks. Just pm me if anything or post away. Thanks to all in advance.

John

thats cool man. i decided since ive waited this long, im just going to do it right the first time. im just going to pull the shortblock from the car and just have jerry do what me and him planned for my car in the beginning and thats the 7 bolt stroker. i plan to have the motor built within the next 2-3 months and hopefully have the car out and running in august with the AEM EMS.

If you are going through all that trouble why not just throw in a 6bolt stroker?

because there no reason for me to do that because me and jerry found out a way to eliminate crankwalk..... plus i already have the block & crank and both are in perfect condition.... actually, the 7 bolt 2.4 crank is brand new

Do those come nitrated new? or are they still "soft" cranks

i believe they are still soft, but the crank is getting nitrated 2 weeks from now.
