Default 93 plymouth laser turbo all wheel drive

O.k. i know what bok value is on this car, but i need your guy's opinion, im running across a 93 laser turbo all wheel drive, it has a bad clutch and a cracked exhaust housing on the turbo, the engine is under 100,000 miles, its got a shitty paint job the kid did with C/H gun and some aqua paint. The car is in good shape otherwise. HE SAYS the car is not stock, says it has 16g turbo and a upgraded BOV i have not seen under the hood yet, only the car from a distance.. Based on what i have told you, from what he told me, what would you pay for the car.... I offered him 1,000 for it, is it worth it?

1000 seems like a good deal for you based on what you said.

I wouldnt buy one that has been modified.
Unless it was done from some one i know and trust.
Even still i would just end up changing things, so i still wouldnt buy a modified one.

3 years is a lot of time for shit to get bored and stop working. have someone go take a look at it, or drive it, look under the hood and see for yourself.

7 Bolt, bad clutch, crack exhaust housing on the turbo which you're paying more money for, been sitting for 3 years, bad paint... Not for $1,000...

The fact that its AWD is a huge plus. Even with what you listed as wrong with the car, the kid can probably find someone else to buy it for 1k just because of that. No matter what, your going to have to put money into just about any DSM you buy.

that i know.... i just didnt want to have to throw 1,500 away just to have it running right, to where i can drive it. Ive got it itemized, a good clutch $400 bucks, turbo housing..Im guessing $150-200 for a brand new one, new paint base coat clear coat $150 ill shoot it myself. Im already at $750 thats if absolutely nothing else is wrong with it, and that doesnt include all my labor time... Ive also heard that alot of people still dont want the all wheel drive because of the weight factor, and the issues they had with the all wheel drive.
